We want everyone to be able to use our website and reach us without barriers. The website follows the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Measures implemented
- Semantic structure with headings, landmarks and a “Skip to content” link.
- Fully operable by keyboard with a clearly visible focus.
- Sufficient colour contrast for text and controls.
- Text alternatives for graphics; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms with labelled fields, understandable error messages and status messages for screen readers.
- Animations are switched off if “Reduce motion” is enabled in your operating system; all content remains available without animation.
- Content can be enlarged up to 200% and is usable on smartphones without horizontal scrolling.
- The cookie banner can be operated by keyboard; “Reject” and “Accept” are designed equally.
- The website is available in German, English and Polish; each page declares its language.
Compliance status
According to our self-assessment, the website is largely accessible. Known limitation: the interactive map of Europe is a schematic graphic; all information shown in it (driving areas, countries, corridors) is also available as text next to the map.
