Truck advertising in Germany: motorways, regions and reach
FrameAds editorial team · Updated on
With the Germany focus, your ad travels on trucks that cover around 80% of their mileage on German motorways – including the A1, A2, A3, A5, A7, A8 and A9. Regional focus areas in northern, western, southern and eastern Germany can be booked subject to availability. Each truck generates around 50,000 views a day on average.
Why truck advertising on German motorways?
German motorways are busy: at the AD München-Allach counting point (A99), the Federal Highway Research Institute (BASt) counts around 120,000 vehicles a day. Trucks travel exactly these routes – so your ad goes where traffic is densest anyway.
Because a truck covers around 500 km a day, it reaches people in several cities and federal states – without you having to book separate ad space for each region.

Reach: what one truck achieves in Germany
On average, a truck generates around 50,000 views a day and drives around 500 km. Over a month with 26 working days that is about 1.3 million views and around 13,000 km. Ten trucks over twelve months add up to around 156 million views.
How the figure is calculated is shown in the reach calculation. Work out your own set-up in the reach calculator.

Frequently asked questions

Which motorways do the trucks use?
The main corridors include the A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A7, A8, A9 and A14. Specific routes depend on the vehicles of our partner hauliers and are stated in the offer.
